IM Millionaires Success Stories by Joel Comm

Joel Comm really ticks me off. “We’re living in the good old days”, he says. What the heck does that mean?

I thought the “good old days” are what people try to get back to… but can never quite get there.

How “good” is it, really, when:

- Half the country is in debt up to their eyeballs and just one missed paycheck away –or one mortgage rate reset away– from being kicked out into the street.
- Gas is priced at over 4 bucks a gallon, forcing the average Joe to cut back on driving or use grocery money to fill the gas tank.
- And speaking of groceries, they cost more every time we go shopping; then there’s out of control health insurance costs, and all the rest.

When you think about it, there are always those who seem to do well despite the conditions in the overall economy.

No doubt about it, thousands or even millions of people are at the mercy of their employers or the government to keep them out of the poorhouse.

On the other hand, there are those who are seemingly able to rake in the cash despite the gloom and doom on the ten o-clock news.

Hmmm…maybe it is possible to stand apart from the crowd and imitate the “gurus” who have cracked the code and dialed in the system for generating serious money.

Consider this..

New Book by Joel Comm - Click Here to Order - Internet Marketing Millionaires Success Stories

John Carlton – who learned copywriting after practically being *dared* to do it by a hostile co-worker. His copywriting education began by stealing the co-worker’s copy of John Caples’ Tested Advertising Methods. By the time she stole back the book, John had embarked on a self-education program that has resulted in him being one of the most sought after copywriters in the world.

Another John – John Reese – though smart as they come, college couldn’t hold his interest. After flunking out, he labored in a video rental store while building his business. He owed over $100,000 in credit card debt at his lowest point, and his friends and relatives may have thought he would fall through the cracks like so many other dreamers. Once he put all the pieces together… he became the cash generating machine that we know today.

Keith Wellman’s story is oh-so-familiar. Deep in debt and a family to support with his dead-end job, Keith was desperate. He even blasted Mike Filsaime publicly on Filsaime’s blog for taking advantage of his own desperation and hope. It wasn’t long before Wellman had to eat his words in a big way, as he is now a very successful entrepreneur with a lifestyle that others only dream about.

Hey, if you can’t beat them, why not join them?

In his disarmingly illuminating style, Joel Comm profiles these individuals plus more than 30 others in his book Click Here to Order: Stories of the World’s Most Successful Internet Marketing Entrepreneurs.
With the same intensity that produced his New York Times Best Selling book The Adsense Code, Joel dissects the paths that dozens took to jump on the internet marketer’s bandwagon.

While Joel is no John Grisham (yet), his book reads like one of Grisham’s novels; Joel’s subject matter is just so darn fascinating.

If you’re one of the guys or ladies mentioned in the book, you may wish the Joel had kept his mouth shut.

You don’t want to miss getting your copy.. BY Clicking HERE
Joel Comm’s new book is the first to put over forty internet marketing entrepreneurs under the microscope! All the cool kids will be getting their own copy.. :)

Fixing The Financial Divide In Football

Files under news | Leave a Comment

by Antonio da Silva

The large increase in players’ wages has led to many clubs struggling to remain competitive. Wages have increased so much that the average footballer is now a millionaire and figures among the richest earners in sport worldwide.

The question remains, can this wage spiral be controlled so that it no longer harms the smaller clubs? The answer is yes, and in football it’s being used in just 2 countries in the world: the USA and Australia. Both Major League Soccer and A-League used what is known as a salary cap, which is a limit as to how much a club can spend on players’ wages on a yearly basis.

The main advantage of such a system is that it ensures that each team is competitive despite their revenue and profits. It ensures parity and equity for the players and keeps the fans on the edge of their seats when it comes to challenging for the title as no one is shoo-in.

The major disadvantage of having a salary cap system in place is that it becomes very difficult for a club to retain its players. As a result, championship-winning teams rarely do stay together for another season. This is exactly what happened when Melbourne Victory won the 2006/07 in dominating fashion. The exodus of various players led to Victory having a disastrous season in 2007/08. The salary cap is an even greater disadvantage in football especially if other leagues do not have a salary cap themselves. As a result, the best players and talent will be taken away from leagues with salary caps, leaving fans with the leftovers.

Nevertheless, I still encourage FIFA and other political bodies to consider the use of the salary cap worldwide. I would rather see talent moving to different leagues rather than see clubs fall and disappear forever.

Files under news | Leave a Comment

by Beverly Gartland

1. You can find non biased information from The League of Women Voters, www.lwv.org, They provide nonpartisan voter education materials and information resources. Consider visiting the national site and the state or local league websites for additional information. They post Primary information (as in straight from the source), which you can also use as a reference for present candidate statements and positions.

2. The United States Senate site, posts the voting record as well as other information regarding the senators. http://www.senate.gov/pagelayout/legislative/a_three_sections_with_teasers/votes.htm

3. Look at the ISSUES: Look at proposals for addressing issues. positions on current problems and how to resolve them. Differentiate [words rhetoric and personality] from actual plans and solutions for resolving issues and problems. Look for realistic plans for the future. Are the plans consistent with past voting record. Does the Candidate understanding the history of the present situation will they then move forward with a specific strategic plan.

4. Record the Debates: Do not just rely on news commentators interpretations and opinions. Consider recording the debates so you can replay them and compare responses made during the different debates. Viewing a debate 2 or more times usually provides added insight. Observe the candidate’s speech intonation, body language and subtle gestures to get added information about the candidate’s response and feelings. Additionally observe a candidate’s facial and body response to their opponent’s answers.

5. Search for different news channels, radio stations and commentators. Frequently a newspaper, channel, radio station or news commentator favors a particular party and/or candidate. Most newspapers actually list an editorial political preference. You may also want to look to foreign sources for presidential candidates

6. Include more objective information from sources such as the US Senate site, The League of Women Voters, public service stations, C-Span, census data, voting records, and first hand information.

7. Which statistics are correct? Sometimes each candidate offers different statistics on the same issue, sometimes both candidates are correct, however in other cases this may not be true. Some questions for interpreting the candidates statistics: How can the candidates give different statistics on the same issue? When was the data collected, what years or intervals were used? Who collected the data (was it a group or corporation with a vested interest)? Was the Sample large of enough for accurate results?

8. Have you already made a choice: Try to keep an open mind, consider all information and use objectivity. Be aware of your own biases. If you already have a favorite, it will probably affect how you evaluate the information about your candidate as well as the other candidate(s).

The Christian Virtue of Intolerance

Files under news | Leave a Comment

by Daniel LaLond Jr.

In twenty-first century society culture might be defined as “tolerant” or “politically correct.” When pushed this mindset affirms that someone short should be called “vertically challenged” and a garbage man should be referred to as a “sanitation engineer.” And even a thief isn’t actually a thief (that might offend someone!), he is merely “ethically disoriented.” Tolerant ideology shows its cracks when traffic signs are produced in Braille so as not to offend the blind!

This paradigm might even slip into evangelical Christian thought if biblical truths like “judge not lest ye be judged” are misunderstood. That is, many feel as though to “love” means that we should never be intolerant. Certainly no believer should want to needlessly offend, but when we tolerate what God judges we have capitulated to the society we should engage.

Many Christians oppose divergent moral behavior (at least in theory). In the name of “grace” or “mercy,” however, these believers will tolerate doctrinal divergence. Though the apostle Jude admonished first century Christians to “contend earnestly for the faith” perhaps most of us prefer to comfort rather than to contend. In tune with Jude, however, Paul also implored the church to be intolerant toward doctrinal divergence:

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned: and turn away from them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the hearts of the innocent. (Rom 16:17-18).

Regarding the term mark them in the preceding passage esteemed expositor James Strong notes that the phrase means “to take aim at.” Is it possible that Paul, the gentle apostle of grace, wanted believers to “take aim at” leaders within the Christian faith? When considered through the lens of modern “tolerance” notions such an idea does indeed seem offensive. Paul, however, demonstrated the lost Christian virtue of intolerance when he cautioned Timothy regarding Hymenaeus and Philetus whose doctrines “will spread like gangrene.”

Can you imagine the reaction a preacher today might receive if he said that another Christian leader’s doctrine “will spread like gangrene?” It’s easy to believe that Paul’s intolerance was probably always directed at some fringe teacher. Kindly consider, however, another example of Paul openly rebuking the most prominent church leader of early Christianity:

But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in the presence of all, “If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews? (Gal 2:14).

Paul openly criticized Peter in Galatians chapter two because when popular teachers are teaching error others are set adrift. Intolerance toward doctrinal blunders isn’t harmonious with modern “coexist” dogmas, but it is biblical. Because of Jesus’ manifest intolerance of errant doctrine the believers at Pergamum didn’t need to guess as to whose teaching they should avoid. “You also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans,” warned Jesus, “which thing I hate.” (Rev 2:15).

In stark opposition to the practices of modern Christianity where tolerance at the expense of doctrinal purity is considered a virtue. In scripture though, Jesus expects His church to exercise the virtue of intolerance toward errant teachers and their dangerous dogmas. By merely being tolerant of an errant teacher within the church at Thyatira the Christians there earned an open rebuke in the eternal record:

Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols (Rev 2:20).

As with the dangerous doctrines of Jezebel (and even Peter) which led first century Christians astray, accepted teachers within the Christian church today disseminate dangerous doctrines which minimize sin and its consequences. And in contrast to the tolerance of our age, the Christian virtue of intolerance is the order of the day as ministers with big names, big money and bigger platforms serve up theological swill to the servants of Christ.

How To Get Rid of Cold Sores and Oral Herpes Outbreaks

Files under news | Leave a Comment

by Denny Bodoh

Do you know how to get rid of cold sores? Read this quick article and you will see how to get rid of cold sores, oral herpes and fever blisters with ease.

Learning how to get rid of cold sores will give you great relief when you need it most. Yes, you have probably seen some wild claims by a few companies. They try to convince you their magic ointment is how to get rid of cold sores.

You give it a try and, again, you find it does not work.

If you are serious to know how to get rid of cold sores, then first you should understand what actually causes them. Then these cold sore treatment tips will make a lot more sense to you.

An oral herpes event - often called a cold sore or fever blister - is created by the herpes simplex virus. It comes in two flavors - type 1 and type 2. Either one causes similar sores.

The herpes virus infects nearly everyone. It is quite contagious. And once you are infected, it will likely be with you for life. It hides deep in the nerve roots near where it entered your body.

For most of your life, the cold sore virus is asleep and not making trouble. In fact, a third of the people infected will never get a cold sore. The other two-thirds will get at least one a year - often more.

Stress lowers your immune defenses, allowing the herpes virus to move to the surface. There the virus invades the nerve cells and forces them to create new virus particles.

When the cells are full, they rupture to release the new virus. This creates the ulcer we call an oral herpes cold sore.

Now your body has the chore of building new skin and cells to replace the destroyed ones.

How quickly you heal will depend on your health and energy level. Availability of the necessary building materials also determines speed of healing. Primarily we are talking about vitamins, minerals and certain proteins.

Right now, I would like to show you how to get rid of cold sores that you are suffering with right now. Also, you will discover what it may take in your life to prevent them altogether.

1. BEGINNING COLD SORE SYMPTOMS

The first warnings of a cold sore is a burning, tingling sensation. If you treat it early, you can delay (or sometimes prevent) the cold sore from appearing. This saves having to endure the repair process.

Now you should act quickly and apply ice - or anything cold. It is like giving the virus a cold shower. It discourages the virus from replicating. This trick will definitely slow down, if not stop, oral herpes cold sore outbreaks.

2. KEEPING THE COLD SORE CLEAN A MUST FOR FAST HEALING

Our bodies understand how to get rid of cold sores efficiently. Once the sore breaks open, your body creates a fluid that washes tons of cold sore virus out of the wound.

You can really help to speed up the healing process here.

Continually cleanse the cold sore using alcohol or hydrogen peroxide. Not only will you remove much of the virus this way, you will also help prevent spreading the sore to another location or person.

3. HELP YOUR BODY REPAIR THE COLD SORE DESTRUCTION

Here is a little known tactic. Once the sore has burst open, no longer use ice if possible. It will slow healing. Instead, start applying heat. This will cause more healing blood to rush to the area.

Warm, black tea bags are wonderful for this treatment. They are cheap and convenient. Tea also provides micro-nutrients that aid in cell protection and repair. Discard each tea bag after use.

For best results, do not heat the bags in a microwave. The radiation reduces the effectiveness of the healing properties of tea. Use hot water to heat the bag. Applying for 10 to 20 minute sessions are the best therapy.

Hopefully you will find these methods helpful in knowing how to get rid of cold sores. Perhaps you would like to learn even more great tips and secrets to successfully dealing with oral herpes and cold sore events.

I would love to help you further. I invite you to come in and visit my web site where I guarantee you will find a lot more FREE information about how to get rid of cold sores.
