Thrush is also known as candidiasis or yeast infection. It originates from an entirely natural fungus within the body which poses no threat to the human body. When there is an overgrowth of this fungus it leads to thrush which is a source of great discomfort. Pain of the vulva and inside the vagina itself is typical. Vaginal discharge may become thick and give an unpleasant smell.
The majority of the population has a natural fungus in their bodies which lies dormant and perfectly safe alongside many others. Itis this fungus, when it rapidly overgrows, which leads to thrush. Thrush can be prevented. It is necessary to note that a normal amount of yeast is necessary for good vaginal health. That is why it is not advisable to rely too much on preventing the formation of yeast. It is certainly too late if you already have the infection and are looking for a cure.
