Known for their stylish digital cameras, Fujifilm has released yet another astonishing camera - the FinePix z20fd. This compact camera comes in a variety of colors and is compact enough to carry anywhere you go. Whether it is a childs first digital camera, or an adults 20th camera, the FinePix z20fd offers numerous features along with quality images.

The FinePix z20fd is a pocket sized camera with measurements of only 3.6 x 2.2 x 0.8 inches. Additionally, it only weighs 4.4 ounces. The combination of size and weight make this camera compact enough that just about anyone can comfortably operate it with the use of one hand. For those of you who like a little spice, you can choose from a red, green, pink, blue, or even black exterior.

This 10-megapixel sensor camera produces quality images without the need for additional fluff. It has a 3x and 5.6x zoom, although it is suggested that the 5.6x not be used as it distorts pixels. Simply using standard settings and the normal 3x zoom, you can produce pictures that are 3,648 x 2,736 pixels.

Automatic exposure control is one of many features on the FinePix z20fd. This feature allows consumers to snap pictures with little to no modifications to other settings. Many additional features on this model, which make it even more appealing to the average consumer.

Other features include, but are not limited to, face detection, red eye reduction, preset shooting modes, blog mode, IrSimple, photo stabilization, color mode, and more. White balance, color mode, and ISO settings are your common manual settings, which can be adjusted easily with one finger. Face detection helps perfect focus and can be used with or without red eye reduction. (For those of you with light eyes, you know how red eye can ruin a picture.)

As for the preset shooting modes, Fujifilm created modes that covered nearly every possible setting. Sport, night, sunset, snow, beach, and nine other modes are available for your convenience - including automatic. Regardless of your external surroundings, you should have no problem capturing the perfect image.

Blog mode is a fascinating little feature that allows you instantaneously to share images with your friends and family. Using the IrSimple menu you will downsize your photos to one of two options 320×240 or 640×480. (These are optimized blog sizes.) The image will safe with a different name in order to keep the original intact. Then simply synchronize your image online and your friends and family can now view your newest images.

All menus, on the FinePix x20fd, are accessible via the LCD screen or the navigational buttons on the backside of the camera. The display is a 2.5-inch LCD that allows you clearly see your images, along with navigate through different menu options. To the right of the display are two 4-way navigational menu options. These are for easy access to simple actions like flash.

The FinePix z20fd has internal storage of up to 45MB. While this stores a decent amount of photos, the purchase of an additional memory card might be necessary. This model supports xD-Picture, SD, and SDHC expansion memory cards.

For only $200, you can make a child, yourself, or a friend happy with a new, elegantly designed, FinePix z20fd. This is the perfect camera for those who like to take pictures wherever they go. It is user-friendly enough that even the most inexperienced user can easily capture memories.
