I read an article on a website recently which stated registry cleaners were of no use and people shouldn’t waste their time or money on them. This author said he could not change his mind about this without seeing some convincing data.
In this article, I would like to make it clear registry cleaners are an important tool that should be used periodically as a regular part of computer upkeep. I will also make the case corruption in the registry will greatly diminish a computer’s speed and overall performance.
This article doesn’t contain any stat sheets or lab reports of any kind. Being a computer technician, I am concerned with the well-being of computers and it is from this point of view I will make my case.

An engineer can sit in a lab and pour over theoretical computer behavior if he or she would like. However, there is one statistic an engineer will never discover. I work on computers for a living. Would I recommend registry cleaners for no reason? Would I tell a good customer of mine to use one and then have him or her come back to me to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. Sure, if I was stupid! The truth is, I want to keep my good customers happy and I certainly, I do my best not to lead them astray.
I have no idea why there are some who are preaching against registry cleaners when I have seen them save computers from their demise time and time again!
