Lately there has been a lot talk about registry cleaners not serving any purpose. Some people are saying they are not a necessary tool for keeping PC’s running well. I’ve heard one obviously misinformed person, advise against wasting money buying one.

It just so happens I know from first hand experience registry cleaners do have an important role in the upkeep of today’s computers. They should be used regularly and when they are not, a computer could slow down and die altogether.

You will read no technical jargon here. This is all about my business which is keeping home computers running the way they did when they were first taken out of the box. In other words, I am a computer technician and so, I will be talking from that perspective.

Actual Field Experience

The reason I know cleaning the registry is a needed process for keeping a computer running at full speed and error free is because I’ve seen what a corrupt registry will do to a computer and I’ve used commercial registry cleaners to overcome this corruption many times. I have tons of thank you letters from satisfied customers whose computers were resurrected by registry cleaners.

The plain and simple fact is, registries do become corrupted and when they do, the computer’s performance suffers, maybe even to the point of uselessness. The best way to deal with this problem is to use a good registry cleaner.

The newer operating systems, namely Windows XP and Vista corrupt easily, and because these OS’s are so huge, a little bit of corruption goes a long way toward deteriorating their performance. As corruption builds up in the registry the computer’s speed will suffer, errors will become frequent and the blue screen of death often will occur.

In the Real World of Computers

I work on computers for a living. Would I recommend registry cleaners for no reason? Would I tell a good customer of mine to use one and then have him or her come back to me to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. Sure, if I was stupid! The truth is, I want to keep my good customers happy and I certainly, I do my best not to lead them astray.

Why there are those who have a vendetta against registry cleaners, I simply don’t know. These people must have not ever used one. At least, not the ones I would use.

There is no harm that can be done by getting a registry scan on your computer. All the good ones offer a free scan. So, if you find no corruption, you’re done. If you do find corruption and your computer isn’t performing well, cleaning the registry will no doubt help cure your problem. If it doesn’t, they have money back guarantees. So the way I see it, you can’t go wrong using registry cleaners. They are an irreplaceable asset for your computer’s health.
