The best place to stay in Orlando, considering you are going for the large number of theme parks is on International Drive. This is the primary location for all of the major theme parks. The following are the hotels that I rate as the top five hotels in Orlando, Florida.
Number one: Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando International Drive. The location of this property is excellent. It is close to all of the theme parks and it has a shuttle to Universal and Islands of Adventure. They also offer a fantastic breakfast that you can fill up on to save money in the parks. The hotel has a exceptionally friendly staff and is remarkably clean. This is the number favorite of all Orlando hotels.
Number two: Hampton Inn Orlando - Convention Center. This hotel has very nice rooms and very comfortable beds. They also offer a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The staff is very friendly at this property, and the hotel is very clean and maintained. The hotel is located about 2 minutes walking distance from International Drive. This is my number two choice when it comes to Orlando Hotels.
Number three: Horizons by Marriott Vacation Club at Orlando. If you have a family then you can take them here. There is a wonderful staff that is kid friendly and helps you entertain. They have things like pools and hote tubs, also pool tables, table tennis and even minature golf. This property is number three out of the Orlando Hotels.
Number four: Hilton Grand Vacations Club on International Drive. This hotel also organizes entertainment for kids throughout the day. They are an excellent family hotel, with a beautiful atmosphere. This hotel is across the street from Sea World and very close to Walt Disney World. There is a shuttle and I trolley nearby to get you to the theme parks. Apparently in their kids recreation room they have some incredible homemade ice cream. This is my number four rank of the Orlando Hotels.
Number five: Crowne Plaza Orlando Universal. The most fantastic part of this hotel is the comfortable beds. Right behind that is their friendly staff. The rooms are clean and have great furniture. They also have LCD televisions. The only problem is this hotel is not within walking distance of much, and they are not as kid friendly as the other Orlando Hotels. This is our number five pick.
