Summer is almost over and it seems that barely a day has passed without rain but don’t let the weather stop you enjoying yourself in Llandudno, North Wales. The town has some great all weather attractions to keep the whole family entertained.

There’s always a show on at Venue Cymru whether you are looking for top adult entertainment or something for the kids. North Wales is a regular stopping place for the country’s top comedians and bands. The theatre also offers top quality food in its own restaurant so you can make a whole day of it if you want to.

Llandudno’s Superbowl is a great place to shoot some pins. The superbowl is located on Mostyn Champneys retail park just to the south of the town centre. The venue has its own cafe and is fully licensed so is a great place for either a night out or a day with the children.

For great art visit Oriel Mostyn which is located close to the town centre. There’s a great variety of art from contemporary to older as well as regular exhibitions from local artists. Oriel Mostyn is the largest independently funded art gallery in Wales. The gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 5pm.

Visit Llandudno’s Home Front Museum for a look into what life was like in Llandudno during the Second World War. There is a wide variety of memorabilia and exhibits from the time giving a detailed insight into the war years. The Home Front Museum is just a few minutes’ walk from Llandudno’s town centre.

For up to date movies visit Cineworld Llandudno which is located in the nearby town of Llandudno Junction. The cinema has 9 screens in the multiplex with a regular mix of current and children’s films. Every Saturday morning there is a children’s special film where entry is just one pound per person, great for the whole family. There’s plenty of places to grab some food next to the cinema with three fast food restaurants.
